Origins of Intelligent Design

Jonathon Witt (Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute) has a brief account of the origins of the Intelligent design movement. His main point it that this movement is historically distinct from Creationism and it is therefore an error to state that it is the latest attempt by Creationists to overthrow the Edwards v. Aguillard 1987 ruling in the US Supreme Court. This interesting article is available here.
